Steph,

I hope this is not a matter of semantics, but I think that seekers seek Him and finders know Him. It is one thing to seek, but another altogether to know.

It is the dearth in the Body of Christ of truly knowing Jesus that troubles me. We've elevated being a seeker to near idol status, but being a knower doesn't get the same accolades. Knowers can tell others, while seekers can only band together on their search. A knower can get anywhere by herself, but a seeker usually needs help.

Not trying to pick on you; you're one of my most faithful readers! (Thanks!) I just think the distinction is important.

Just like Jeremiah 29 says - seek Him and you will find Him.
I believe we are being called to passionately seek Him, passionately pursue Him, and thereby reflect His image in everything we do.
