But either stat indicates that you don't have to look much further than your own pew in most churches. There really is no difference among Protestant, Catholic, or the Jewish faith according to the AGI stats I read. In the US nearly half of all women (43%) will have had an abortion by the time they are 45 years old. We cannot ignore the 40 million + babies but neither can we ignore the mothers of those babies...or the fathers. Sorry to get on a soap box ...as you can tell it's something I'm very passionate about. What this original post brought out, in all of the stories that have been shared here, is the reminder of the need for all of us to be more merciful...especially those of us who have received so much.
