The Sound of a Lone Cricket Chirping

It's a cartoon staple. Having grown up with Warner Brothers' Looney Tunes stable of hilarity every Saturday morning, I used to hear it a lot. Daffy Duck makes some comment that goes over like a lead balloon and the next sound effect you hear is deathly stillness punctuated by the chirping of a solitary cricket.
In the wake of my post from Tuesday, Reality, Part 2, the cricket got a workout. The daffy blogger must've said something that substituted the archetypal lead balloon for one made out of depleted uranium. What that means for Cerulean Sanctum is uncertain. I need to process a few things in the days ahead.
Posts will continue. I think a More Cowbell Award is waiting in the wings, and I wish to revisit a couple past posts and expand them a bit.
