After the first 24 hours, or so, it's not so hard. For me, it's actually harder to get &lt;b&gt;back&lt;/b&gt; to blogging than it was to get &lt;b&gt;out&lt;/b&gt; temporarily.

I'm still divided whether blogging is a "ministry" with an impact, or whether it's mere shouting in the void with conversations intersecting but rarely interacting. Stepping away for a while helps keep your focus on the tangibles and on God's purpose through your work.
