I'll be away from blogging for the next month. During that time, I had planned on reposting old posts in their entirety.
I have since learned that Google does not like to see the same exact content in a different place on the same blog and will penalize for it. Not wishing to have search engines avoid indexing those posts because they've been posted twice, I'll instead be providing links to them with a brief intro.
The first will come tomorrow.
Even though these are older posts revisited, feel free to comment on the post at its original link location. All comments, even from older posts, are e-mailed to me, so I do see them. I may not respond to each comment personally (since I'm trying to step away from the blog for a month), but if a point is really cogent, I may. Nonetheless, your input is still welcomed!
Be blessed.
Dan

Have fun, Dan, and grow in grace while you step away. Oh, and rest.
After the first 24 hours, or so, it’s not so hard. For me, it’s actually harder to get back to blogging than it was to get out temporarily.
I’m still divided whether blogging is a “ministry” with an impact, or whether it’s mere shouting in the void with conversations intersecting but rarely interacting. Stepping away for a while helps keep your focus on the tangibles and on God’s purpose through your work.

Rich
