It's rained a fair bit here in North Texas as well. I don't think we'll be needing water for some time.

Your post reminds me of my favorite song by Delirious? called "Rain Down". (See the lyrics <a href="http://www.delirious.org.uk/lyrics/songs/raindown.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.)

I've felt dry many times, but I'm rediscovering a love and a desire for prayer that I haven't had before. It's a great thing to feel that rain of Living Water falling again.

Pigwotflies,

Yes, I've heard about the UK's drenching.

I prayed just now that you'd experience Christ's refreshing. Have a blessed weekend!

Marie,

The ground is soaked---exactly what we needed. For weeks, we would get occasional huge stretches of black clouds that delivered a pittance of rain for a couple minutes, followed by sun that would immediately dry it all up. A rain tease, so to speak. Meanwhile we'd hear of areas around us that got drenched by the same storm. It was crazy. Our area was low by a whole seven inches of rain!
