Sorry, folks, but I’m going to have to step away from Cerulean Sanctum this week. I may not be able to post the rest of the week (beyond this announcement).

I noted last month that my family faced a “tsunami,” a difficult event that came unannounced. We’re still dealing with the fallout of this, and it consumes much of my time. Thank you for your prayers; we still covet them. My apologies that the blog has been in the doldrums and for stepping away in the middle of my series on Bill McKibben’s book, Deep Economy. That’s not typical behavior here, but times have not been typical as of late.

Thank you for understanding,

Dan

Hi Dan,

I’m praying for you and your family just about daily and write on behalf of your grateful readers that we’re pulling for you and understand the need to take a step back. Your blog has been a blessing.

I continue to pray for you and yours during this travail through which you are passing. May God’s comforting presence, be tangibly real.

Dan,
Your family is in our continued prayers. And we pray you will come through this valley renewed and rekindled. Shalom!

Dan -

Have no idea what’s up but recognize stress when it’s present … may the Lord open doors of opportunity and healing to you and your family. You’ll be in my prayers.
