I switched to the open source OpenOffice.org about a year ago, and have been VERY happy with it. It reads MS office files and saves as MS office files for compatibility with people who still use MS Office. Open source versions of stuff continue to improve. They may never be quite what the paid stuff is, but if they are 95% there, why not go that route? Salguod,
