Of the few heresy hunter blogs I read, Benny's description was probably the most succint, well rounded and grounded single sermon I've heard.

As far as why he did it? I think that's Hinn being Hinn. That's not the first time I've heard him warn about certain things.

When I first became a christian I used to read his books, watch him on TV and attended some of his conferences. This sermon isn't out of the norm from what I remember.

Brian,

It wasn't earth-shattering. In fact it was really basic. But the fact is it came from Hinn, of all people.

I'm just hoping he's doing this for the right reasons and not using this as an attempt to be part of the "in" crowd who have bailed on Lakeland in since the whole thing imploded.

Like I said, Francisco, you gotta work hard to keep your head from exploding watching that Hinn video.

I would love to hear that Hinn's wising up. His theology is pretty whacked, but if he straightens up, I think he could be really helpful in fighting charismania---although that would require an enormous culpability on his part for making it worse to begin with. Still, there is hope.

I would much rather see these guys fly right than beef about them flying blind all the time! I mean, some people will always despise Hinn, even if he does everything right, just because he's done so many things wrong in the past. I'm not one of those people. I'd much rather see guys wise up. That helps everyone.

Tannage,

I've seen rare toys before (heck, I remember the Cabbage Patch Doll craze when it first hit), but I've never seen anything like this Bakugan thing, especially since it's not a large-sized, expensive toy.

Thanks for the lilnk.
