Apologies to readers for the lack of substantive posting here as of late. If life is a Kitchen Aid blender, mine is set to Liquify right now—and shows no sign of an Off button. In fact, I may need to take an unexpected break for a couple weeks due to the sheer volume of things whirling around me.

A trio of things to pray for:

1. Our house refi came through, so we are hoping to use the money saved to buy a replacement car for the one totaled last month. Prayers for the perfect car for our needs are greatly appreciated.

2. I will be going under the knife on June 30, and the resulting recovery time may keep me out of the loop for a week. I had planned on this downtime for the surgery, as the last week in June and first week in July are normally lulls for my business. Of course, my phone started ringing off the hook this week. Anyway, more on all this in the days ahead.

3. My wife has been looking for work in a down economy in the type of field that many companies are jettisoning, marketing. To compound issues, we live in an exclusively consumer packaged goods metroplex and she’s B2B. Much prayer needed.

Thank you for understanding and for your prayers.

Be blessed. Be Kingdom-minded.

I feel what you are going through. Know that you and yoru family will be in my prayers.

You will definitely be missed on here — so recoup soon!

Sulan,

Life is good, and good things keep happening! We refinanced our home and learned that it appraised considerably higher, even in this down housing market. Other good things are happening. God is blessing us tremendously.

But it is also a ridiculously busy time, and due to some issues with illness at home, I am stretched to my limit. I want quality writing here at Cerulean Sanctum, and I am barely able to think right now due to all that is swirling around me. I have consistent readers, and I just want them to know that pickings will be slim until I get on the other side of this surgery and workload.

I am old, been through slim-pickings in lots of things before! I’ll be around.

Since I just discovered your place, I have a lot to catch up on.

Someone sent me your website while I was in Altanta with my daughter who passed last December, and I read something, cannot remember what, printed it out, and mailed to all my Christian friends who don’t compute. They loved it.

So, while you are away, I will be reading, printing and sharing.

God is ever faithful!
